Focus
B2B positioning · Product discovery · Lead generation
Tristar needed to look like more than another local stone distributor. The business runs on direct factory relationships, flexible sourcing and Canadian service, but a visitor had no way of knowing that. The model was different. The website needed to say so.
The audience is professional: fabricators, builders, contractors and trade buyers who already know what stone costs and who else can supply it. They are comparing suppliers, not browsing.
What we changed
We rebuilt the site around the factory-direct model, reorganised the product journey and made it easy to explore collections, understand the sourcing model and ask for more information.
Clearer positioning
Factory-direct supply became the first message on the page instead of a detail on an About page. The section below it compares Tristar directly with traditional distributors.
Better product discovery
Collections and product information are organised so a fabricator or builder can see what is available without working through a catalogue built for nobody in particular.
Stronger conversion paths
Catalogue requests and consultation booking sit in the hero and the header, so a buyer who has decided does not have to go looking for the next step.
More credible presentation
A cleaner, more architectural visual system that matches the quality of the material and the professional buyers Tristar sells to.
Why these changes matter
Make the difference obvious
A visitor should understand within seconds why Tristar is not a conventional distributor. That is the reason to call them rather than the next supplier on the list.
Help buyers find what they need
Fabricators, builders and trade customers want a short path to products, sourcing information and a way to get in touch. Anything in the way costs an enquiry.
Let the product lead
The design stays restrained so the stone, the applications and the finished spaces remain the thing you look at. In this category the material is the argument.
Outcome
Tristar now has a website that explains its factory-direct sourcing model clearly and gives Canadian fabricators, builders and other trade customers a more professional way to explore products, understand the offer and get in touch.
